PADI Certification
Become a member of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors® (PADI) with Maui Scuba Mike’s patient and enthusiastic approach to PADI certification. Scuba Mike will educate each diving student through PADI’s “Four E’s Philosophy” which consists of the following four elements:
EDUCATION
You will not just learn how to scuba dive, instead you will continue to improve upon your scuba diving knowledge through continuing education. PADI offers a full range of diving courses which Maui Scuba Mike will guide you through. Each piece of PADI education introduces students to new underwater activities and you may soon find yourself following in Scuba Mike’s footsteps on the road to becoming a PADI Dive Master.
EQUIPMENT
Innovative scuba diving gear makes everything possible. With so many neat gadgets and changing scuba diving technology, managing one’s equipment can be confusing. Maui Scuba Mike will take the mystery out of all scuba diving gear and simplify the gear selection process as only a PADI Professional dive instructor can.
ENVIRONMENT
As a CERTIFIED PADI TRAINER, Maui Scuba Mike believes in protecting the underwater ecosystem. If you are interested in PADI certification, Maui Scuba Mike will train you in proper scuba diving techniques that protect fragile aquatic life and protects water resources. The Professional Association of Diving Instructors believes wholeheartedly in global conservation and advocates for every new member to safeguard the ocean resources during each and every dive.
EXPERIENCE
Maui Scuba Mike’s PADI dive class offers a wide variety of diving experiences from local dive tours to expanded dive travel. By participating in PADI dive excursions, you will be welcomed into a new community of other divers and may soon find yourself traveling the world to new and exciting vacation destinations with like-minded scuba diving enthusiasts. PADI certifications offer members the ability to not only interact with other divers face-to-face but also through online portals such as ScubaEarth®.
PADI Discovery Dive
Ready to get your feet wet, but not yet certain if going all the way to Open Water Certification is for you? The PADI Discovery dive is for you. The dive time and experience will also count towards your Open Water Certification if you choose to continue.
PADI Open Water
PADI Open Water is a 4 dive course that includes class work and hands on training in Scuba Diving and PADI certification knowledge. Receiving your certification will give you confidence in the water and allow you to rent gear and go on advanced dives all over the world.
