How to Help preserve marine Life straight through Scuba Diving?
Issues such as global warming and environmental degradation have stirred many sectors of community towards collective accountability and the stewardship of our natural resources. Organizations such as Reef (Reef Environmental education Foundation) and Narc (Neptune’s Army of Rubbish Cleaners) are grass roots environmental agencies that found investigate and educational programs, including clean up activities that aim to entice divers, nautical researchers and even non-divers to come to be stewards of aquatic ecosystems and nautical life per se. If you are a diving enthusiast and would like to share in the global attempt of preserving nautical habitats, here are a few powerful activities that you can engage into.
It commences from land. The activities of man on land will ultimately influence the state of nautical life in one way or another. So why not join the local scuba diving community in the escort of coastal clean-up activities that are organized every year. This can help reduce the volume of hazardous wastes infiltrating nautical habitats.
Taking whatever your hands can carry. Reef clean-up involves the removal of non-biodegradable materials without disturbing the fragile equilibrium of nautical flora and fauna victorious in these biotic underwater habitats. Garbage collected from reefs can be added segregated, recycled or reprocessed to preclude its unwanted return to the ocean.
Surveying Fish and Reef Species. Besides the removal of trash from the waters, Reef also maintains a growing database of fish and other nautical species with their corresponding plentifulness scores. This is done through the Roving Diver Volunteer agenda that beckons certified scuba divers inclined to multi-task, as they go about with their individual, recreational diving pursuits in the waters of Canada and the Us, with the scrutinize of nautical species and recording of its manifestation based on the inputs required by a proforma scrutinize sheet. Said action not only seeks to provide a dynamic, original data for nautical investigate and goods improvement but also fosters a profound insight and appreciation of nautical life for volunteers.
Think you have got what it takes to come to be a steward of nautical ecosystems? Non-divers can contribute to this pursuance by participating in coastal clean-up activities. Nonetheless, certified scuba divers can do so much more to this end being in close experience with coral reefs and other reef formations. This can be conducted without upsetting the fun part of any recreational scuba dive with the easy retrieval of any garbage you find on the reef. Moreover, becoming a Reef surveyor puts more meaning to the definition of nautical life stewardship. Just make sure you’re properly geared up with the right scuba tool to keep you properly insulated, mobile and neutrally buoyant as you probe into the depths of the ocean to scrutinize the bounties of nautical ecosystems
Scuba Diving in Florida
Over the last few years, one of the most popular pastimes for any holidaymaker has been that of scuba diving. Just the sheer free time and feeling of peace and solidarity makes up for any cost that the excursion may cost. Although you may connect this activity with the likes of Australia and the Bahamas, you may be pleasantly surprised to find that there is also perfect scuba diving in Florida, specifically the Florida Keys.
Since this area of Florida shares similar temperatures and environments to the Caribbean, it makes for a superb diving location. This is especially true of the Upper Keys area, where you will find coral reefs with a range of spectacular, sea life. Since the Keys don’t nothing else but suffer from customary winter weather conditions, and the summer brings a hot and humid duration from June to September, it’s an area unlike the rest of America and this makes it perfect for scuba diving.
There are two main areas that scuba divers tend to frequent when diving in Florida. One of the most popular destinations is the South East, where you will find the coasts of Boynton Beach and West Palm. With a water temperature that can reach up to 84F during the summer months, it’s as warm as any tropical destination. The range in fish once under the water here can often be stunning; with a composition of moray eels, turtles, barracuda, jacks, grouper and even the odd shark now and again, there nothing else but is a good range on offer.
As well as these fish, you can also view the likes of many tropical fish, as well as snappers and tiny grunts. Since this is such a warm area, you will also encounter multi-colored corals and sea sponges when scuba diving in the Florida Keys. With the capability to dive to up to sixty feet, the reefs here offer a great diving experience.
Should you head northwest instead, you’ll find a wondrous cave diving experience, as well as crystal clear waters and springs. The temperature here never falls below 72F, even in the winter, so it makes for an ideal solution to the less customary winter scuba diving. Places like the Devil’s Den offer the diver a sixty-foot excursion into a deep and dark underwater cave, surrounded by gorgeous fauna and sea plants. This is typical of the northwest, and makes it easy to understand why this is such a popular stop for scuba diving in Florida.
Regardless of which direction you aim in, this part of the United States offers a surprisingly broad area in which to find both fish and corals, and with temperatures as good as the Bahamas, ensures scuba diving in Florida is just as enjoyable as other, more customary parts of the world.
How Do I become a "Trusted Advisor?"
During my week, I have the opportunity to speak to many sales professionals and company owners about their challenges in growing their market proximity and all but a few are searching for some Silver Bullet. It reminds me of a movie I saw called “In the land of Women”. There is a scene with Meg Ryan playing a middle aged housewife walking with her dog and young man played by Adam Brody, who is visiting her neighborhood while taking care of his elderly grand mom and escaping his life in Los Angeles. Adam’s character just got dumped by his model girlfriend, and he finds comfort in speaking to Meg Ryan. While one walk, he says something to the corollary that he doesn’t understand why he all the time gets dumped because he nothing else but understands the women he is dating. Meg Ryan’s character then says “Maybe you’re not nothing else but listening to them” and Adam Brody’s character replies “no, that’s not it” and then continues to talk on! So where’s the similarity?
I often raise the demand with sales population and company owners if their market place truly trusts them and most immediately say yes! Like the above dialogue between Meg Ryan and Adam Brody’s characters, they immediately dive in without real observation of the question. As it relates to trusting it doesn’t matter if you think they trust you, it matters if they think you’re trustworthy! Are you trustworthy? How do you know if you’re trustworthy? Jeffrey Gitomer, author of the small Teal Book of Trust asks his readers to resolve if they are Salespersons, Consultants, Advisors, Strategic Advisors, Trusted Advisors or Trusted advisor and resource with each subsequent adjective describing a higher level of trust in the minds of your clients.
Let’s find out if you are a “Trusted Advisor” with a self Test:
1. I receive unsolicited referrals weekly?
2. I’m considered a friend by my clients?
3. Clients call me weekly to discuss their personal and company decisions?
4. Clients tune into my message weekly?
5. I’m published?
6. I’m known and respected by others in my industry?
7. Clients circulate my facts to their clients?
8. Clients request that I chronicle with their associates?
9. I receive weekly messages thanking me for my service?
10. I can quantum my sphere growing weekly?
Your top score is 100, so grade yourself as you would grade any paper you’ve ever done. I think this test a test of honor and truthfulness to yourself so don’t hold back.
So what do you do now? Build Trust! View your client’s decisions straight through their eyes. What are their expectations of you and are you meeting them? Being a “Trusted Advisor” is not about having the most education, best education, flashiest tools or things, it is about Trust! What are you doing to build trust? Are you known for keeping your promises, being on time and walking away from company when there isn’t a good fit? This is a long term dedication and requires you to treat each client personally limiting your commitments to what you do best and becoming a resource for all else. I’ve learned to be very specific about what I promise to do because if it is not something that I’m passionate about, I know the chances of succeeding are drastically reduced, and I will not only loose the faith of my client, but own as well, the latter being, long term more harmful!
In hereafter articles, I will discuss actual conversations you can have with clients to build on your “Trusted Advisor” status. Until then think joining my weekly coaching calls by registering with this link: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/633060643

You’ll find that it will not cause you to empty out your pockets on some type of expensive hair loss medicine either.
Shampoo Your Hair Correctly
Did you know that there is a right and a wrong way to keep your hair clean? Not many population reconsider this and they often times pay the price when their hair starts thinning. One big mistake population make is that they are cleansing their hair far too much. Too much shampooing of the hair will cause you to wash away needed oils that are their on the scalp to help your hair grow.
So how often is a good time to do this to ensure that you do not lose hair? As a suggestion you should try washing it about three times a week, or every other day. Try skipping days in between. At the same time you also have to be determined that the types of shampoo you’re using are safe for your hair. Many of those shampoo products on the store can hinder hair increase due to the fact that they include so many additives and preservatives. Many of these chemicals are very strong and can strip your hair out if you’re not careful.
Take friendly to Vitamins
Vitamins can be great natural substances proven to help regrow hair. You just have to get the right ones into your diet and the rest is a cinch. I particularly have had great success with vitamin B. Vitamin B seems to thicken thin hair and speed up the rate in which your hair grows.

Great Places to Go on a Date – Take Her Places That Make Her Heart Beat Fast
When looking for great places to go on a date the first thing you must know is yourself. What do you like? What do you know a lot about. You want to take the girl and show her things she has never seen and experienced before. Broaden her horizon, but do it with things that you know well. If you have never been sky diving before, taking her skydiving may not be a great idea. What if you puke all over your shoes, she lands having the thrill of her lifetime to find you covered in vomit.
If you want great places to take her on a date, go where you are strong.
If you are a golfer: take her golfing, a bowler: take her bowling, a baseball player: take her to a game. You will not want to do this every single date, but see if she likes it. It puts you in an environment that you are comfortable with (increasing confidence). It gives you a think to increase experience by showing her all of the moves. If you play things properly these cheesy little events can do quite well for addition corporal experience and getting thing to go the way you want them to.
Be customary in your 2nd straight through 4th dates
Hey, I have taken more than a fair share of women to supper and a movie. It is proper and it is easy. I am sure those dates do not stand out in a girls mind, though. Early in a relationship I do try to take a girl somewhere she has not been. First dates should be someplace where you can get to know her- lots of talking. Second/third dates are for showing some adventure and a wild side. If you ride a motorcycle, take her for a ride to the country. If you have skydived before (remember former example) that could be an idea. Anything you do that could be thought about slightly adventurous is great for these dates.
Training Courses and Prerequisites for Scuba Divers
decade, evolving from something that was utilized by scientists and naturalists to additional their research, turning into a beloved pastime for many people. It’s grown to such an extent that even beach resorts have started contribution scuba diving lessons, as well as tool rentals and certified trainers to accompany untrained newbie divers who just want to try it out.
Scuba means Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus, and involves operating underwater with a tank or rebreather that supplies oxygen to the diver. Types of Scuba are separated based on the breathing apparatus employed in the dive. In open circuit scuba, the air is supplied by a tank or other source, and once inhaled, is exhaled into the surrounding water. It is the most coarse type of scuba used for recreation.
In ended circuit scuba, the air is recycled though the use of devices called rebreathers, and oxygen is reintroduced into the air contribute of the diver by an apparatus. In semi ended circuit scuba, mixed gases are used as the air supply, taking part of the air exhaled by the diver as well as adding to it with an air contribute similar to that used in open circuit scuba. Semi ended circuit scuba is more difficult to learn than open or ended circuit scuba diving alone, because it involves knowledge from both types of diving because the breathing apparatus used is a fusion of the two.
Scuba diving clubs and other organizations offer lessons in scuba diving in an effort to strengthen the growing popularity of this sport. On a more professional level, some of these organizations even offer developed scuba lessons which allow trained scuba divers to strengthen their repertoire and go diving in conditions and environments which are otherwise restricted to other divers who don’t possess the training to deal with them. Here are some of the prerequisites for diving, as well as some of the developed scuba courses that experienced divers can take.
Prerequisites – any and every scuba diver must have skills in swimming, obviously. Aside from this, however, a scuba diver must have had training and contact in snorkeling, which forms the basis for some of the techniques used in scuba diving. If you want to take up scuba diving as a sport but don’t know how to snorkel yet, then take up snorkeling first before taking a course in scuba.
Regular Scuba Certification – this trains a someone in the basics of scuba diving, allowing performance in shallow water and near shorelines, and is generally used for training scuba divers who undertake the sport for purely recreational purposes. For a vast majority of population who take up the hobby, this is enough.
Open Water Scuba – this is for scuba divers who operate out of sight of the shoreline. They will have to take a boat to get to the dive area, so skills in operating a boat are part of the prerequisites for open water scuba diving. Open water scuba usually involves diving to greater depths than a quarterly diver, and divers who use this method need special tool like floater buoys to let other boats on the surface know that there’s a diver in the spot, as well as underwater line markers, reels, and underwater floaters for underwater navigation.
Rescue Scuba – this is a special training course that focuses on salvage operations for other divers. Those who usually take it are employed in the search-and-rescue business. Training includes first aid, obviously, as well as underwater techniques for getting population out of perilous situations like underwater caves. There is also training in the use of specialized tool used in such rescues.
Deep Dive Scuba – this is scuba diving in greatest deep water conditions, and includes training in the use of tool for operating in high pressure depths. Deep dive scuba is very perilous and not recommended for casual divers who are taking it as a hobby, since in some cases it involves descending to depths that feature water pressures that would physically crush a someone wearing quarterly scuba gear. Naturalists usually take this training up as a way to study sea-bottom dwelling life forms, and geologists and oceanologists likewise take it up for learning underwater formations like volcanoes and rock fissures.
Hazardous Area Scuba – this type of training specializes in teaching scuba divers developed forms of security in scuba diving. The diving skills required per se don’t differ too much from the levels of skill complex in quarterly scuba, but additional training is given for allowing a diver to inspect perilous area that are usually restricted to quarterly divers. Some examples of hazard areas consist of shipwrecks, coral reefs infested with toxic life forms, shark infested waters, and underwater caves. While not for the quarterly hobbyist, some of the more serious scuba divers take this up for thrills.
Instructional Courses – this type of scuba course teaches a scuba diver how to teach other population to scuba dive. It also features training in basic first aid to help injured pupils, as well as tutorials in buddy systems that are required for helping newbies along underwater. Obviously, a certificate in basic entry level scuba diving is a must for taking this course up, though no proficiency in the more developed courses is required since this generally focuses on teaching others the methods of recreational scuba, and not professional scuba.

Art News From Hollywood North
Who Says You Can’t Wear Checks With Argyle?
Only an artist could put these two together and make them sing. I lay study to this upon espying the great Vancouver artist, Attila Richard Lukacs, perched atop a barstool at the Fourth Avenue bistro, Pastis.
I was there at the request of artist Shannon Belkin, who had arranged a pre-Christmas get-together with Attila for evening meal and a puny conversation on the art scene mixed with some spicy talk of those at the helm of Vancouver’s galleries.
From the moment I lay eyes on the gentleman at the bar, any preconceived notions of intimidation for this enfant terrible of the International Art World were acquiesced.
I could see…”he was a man of distinction” – as the Cy Coleman song goes – “a real big spender, good looking, so refined”. This foresight was in direct unlikeness to my previous look at Lukacs as he mashed around the bowels of the previous Bc Hydro building installing his works for 2003′s “The Basement Show”, that reunited five of Vancouver’s paramount artists known collectively as, “The Young Romantics.” He was there that morning in full on butch fatigue-wear followed by the camera of documentary filmmaker David Vaisbord, whose “Drawing Out The Demons” – an in-depth look at Lukac’s mercurial talent with a focus on his bizarre departure from his New York studio-cum-den of unlikeness – would soon make the rounds of the Film Festival Circuit.
The Atlantic Film Festival has said of the film, “Drawing Out The Demons may be the most honest and mountainous documentary ever made about a world-class artist.”
Attila addressed the documentary while our evenings many subject matters with equal parts self-deprecation and heart-felt honesty. Hey, we all have demons in our closets! Most of us don’t have the eyes of the world – in this case the art world – laying in wait to lap up our indiscretions. The gentleman sitting beside us has clearly met his demons head on and was able to not only laugh at himself, but also take full responsibility for diving so deeply into excess.
His excesses now appear to be concentrated on canvas. All the time displaying collective commentary, his most up-to-date paintings offer a pointed look at the current war in Iraq. I had recently viewed some of these works at the Antisocial Gallery at 2425 Main Street. Also a skateboard shop, this cutting edge store lends a hint to where this cutting edge artist’s heart lies. By all indication, in youth, and it’s unconditional love for all things unconventional. He tellingly spoke to this by saying that “I take more satisfaction from person young admiring my work than any annotation that a worldly patron of the arts could ever offer.”
A look at Lukac’s up-to-date work titled, “Boards”, offer up skateboards that are truly astonishing works of art. They also show an artist whose talents know no boundaries. This is an artist whose application to a wide collection of mediums can satisfaction a wide collection of audiences.
He in effect was a satisfaction to behold, and, in his Christmas red Argyle vest over red and white check dress shirt, proved surely that, when it comes to taste, this devotee of the canvas et als, is a devotee of style il n’a pas son.
